Meeting your younger self: an AI film from two sets of photos

The scene
A school courtyard, children playing football. The ball rolls aside and an adult standing nearby picks it up. A boy walks over, takes the ball without a word and runs back to the others. The adult watches him go and smiles faintly.
Both are the same person: you now and you as a child. Nothing is explained, which is exactly why it lands.
What makes this template different
No jumps, no explosions, no slow motion. It is shot like cinema rather than a reel: four framings, handheld camera, daylight, shallow depth of field. The format is horizontal 16:9 — the only one among our trends.
Technically it is special too: a separate character sheet is built for each person. Otherwise the model averages two ages into one face. More in why the AI does not look like you.
What to upload
- Childhood photos — up to 6. Scanned film shots work.
- Current photos — up to 6, several angles plus full body.
Childhood shots around ages 5–8 fit the scene best.
FAQ
Are childhood photos required?
Yes, the second character cannot be built without them.
Old photos are low quality — a problem?
Tolerable, as long as the face is discernible.
How long is the clip?
15 seconds, the longest of our templates.
Why 16:9?
The scene has a wide establishing shot that does not read vertically.
